Salah has been on fire for Liverpool since the season started getting involved in at least one goal in every match (scoring or providing an assist)
Liverpool beat Nottingham Forest at home on Sunday, thanks to Salah, Nunez, Jota, and Szoboszlai.
After 30 minutes of stale play, Alexis Mac Allister began a move high up the pitch and found Darwin Nunez whose effort was saved before Diogo Jota sent in the rebound.
Liverpool doubled their lead four minutes later when Mohammed Salah found Dominik Szoboszlai who sent it to Nunez to score from a close range.
Late into the second half, Salah scored into an empty net, snatching away any Nottingham hopes of redemption.
Liverpool pressed forward all the way, having the possession and taking advantage of their chances.
Nottingham’s only dangerous play was when Anthony Elanga saw his strike hit the crossbar in the closing minutes.
Jurgen Klopp was obviously very satisfied with his side’s performance but he dedicated the win to Luis Diaz.
“It’s not about us, it’s about Lucho and his family, and we all pray and hope that everything will be fine,” he added.
