Rasmus Hojlund, a striker for Manchester United, scored an outstanding goal for Denmark against San Marino on Tuesday night in a Euro 2024 qualifying match.
In Serravalle, it came just before halftime to give Denmark a 1-0 lead.
Hojlund, 20, almost shattered the San Marino goal when Mohammed Daramy slid a pass into his path and he unleashed a tremendous angled left foot strike.
In his ninth senior international contest, Hojlund scored his seventh goal for Denmark.
Alessandro Golinucci of San Marino scored an equalizer just after the hour mark, but Yussuf Poulsen’s goal in the 70th minute gave Denmark a 2-1 victory.
With two sets of matches remaining, Denmark is now second in qualifying Group H, four points ahead of Kazakhstan in third.
