There are unverified reports online that the leader of Hamas has called for a global day of jihad to be held tomorrow Friday, 12, October.
The news of the global day of jihad was reported by both Joey Mannarino and Laura Loomer, an investigative journalist.
According to Loomer, the former head of Hamas, chief Khaled Meshaal, gave the global call for Muslims all over the world, especially those Muslims living in America to commit acts of Jihad this Friday.
“HAMAS is calling on people in the Muslim world to sacrifice themselves this Friday”, she tweeted.
She quoted Chief Khaled Meshaal to have said;
“We must head to the squares and streets of the Arab and Islamic world on Friday. To all scholars who teach jihad… to all who teach and learn, this is a moment for the application (of theories)”.
According to Merriam-Webster, Jihad is used to mean a holy war waged on behalf of Islam as a religious duty
In their report, people were warned not to leave their homes on the said day, unless there was an emergency.
People are also advised to avoid public transit, airplanes, and other events.
