Mike Perry, a former UFC fighter, and professional boxer Idris Virgo nearly got into a fight.
Perry was present for the official ceremonial weigh-ins for the Misfits 010 event in Manchester, England, which featured KSI vs. Tommy Fury as the main event. For the co-main event between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis, “Platinum” will be the backup fighter. Despite the disastrous press conference, Paul and Danis managed to make it to weigh-in day.
Having said that, Mike Perry wasn’t idle and the situation almost descended into violence. Media observers watched as Perry and Virgo traded angry words with one another. Perry offended Virgo with his threats that he’d “kill” him and cause mental damage, and security had to separate the two.
“In your country, you ain’t s***,” Perry said. “They know me more. You a little p**** a** b****, f*** you. F*** you, b****, you ain’t do s***. Twice you been in my face, I told you to do something.”
Perry was mocking Virgo as he retaliated.
“You scared little boy,” Virgo said. “You know you a p****.”
Perry then issued Virgo with a dire warning that almost resulted in a fight.
“I’ll f****** kill you, b****,” Perry said. “I’ll give you brain damage, you f****** p****. Do something then, b****.”
Security was then compelled to step in. As the two were being separated, Perry angrily remarked as Virgo was being taken away from him:
“You f****** c***, I’ll knock you out.”
