Saka On Fire As Arsenal Destroys Bournemouth In Thrilling Match

Saka and Odegaard were on fire for Arsenal as the visitors destroyed their hosts in a thrilling but excruciating match on Saturday.

Bukayo Saka scored Arsenal’s opener, sending in the ball after Gabriel Jesus headed Martin Odegaard’s superb cross against the post.

Eddie Nketiah drew a foul in the penalty box. Odegaard scored the spot-kick, sending Neto the wrong way from 12 yards.

Odegaard drew the second penalty and Kai Havertz scored his first Arsenal goal.

The German forward has received plenty of criticism for his displays for the North London side since his summer switch.

It is a sign of how popular he is among his teammates though that he was handed the ball, whilst he was also greeted with plenty of applause from the Gunners’ loyal fans.

Before the match, Arteta had revealed that Declan Rice and Saka had not trained in his pre-match press conference after picking up a back issue vs. Tottenham.

It was good to see them on the pitch.

Ben White then added a fourth in injury time with a powerful header.

Despite entering the game without a win in the Premier League this season, Bournemouth made a confident start against an unbeaten Arsenal side.
