Brighton has moved to the top of the table after beating Wolves in the 2nd round of the new season.

March made it 3-0 with a first-time strike into the roof of the net from Julio Enciso’s cross only six minutes later. He put the visitors another goal up, side-footing Danny Welbeck’s low cross into the net in the 55th minute.
Brighton had three goals under their belt in the space of nine minutes.
Hwang Hee-chan pulled one back for Wolves with a well-placed header but it was not enough for the home side, as they have lost two games in a row.
Silva, making his first start for the club since April 2022, had an early effort disallowed for offside before finding himself one-on-one with Steele, but he could not convert.
Wolves are currently at the bottom of the table after two losses from two games.
March has scored three goals for Brighton this season recovering possession more often than any of his teammates.
