Popular influencer, Andrew Tate has been released from his house arrest, after winning his appeal in a Bucharest court on Friday.
Taking to Twitter, Andrew expressed his preference for staying at home, stating that he would rather eat at home than go to restaurants, smoke shisha or cigars at home, and have no interest in going to clubs.
Andrew Tate has been charged with rape, while his brother Tristan has been charged with instigating others to violence and trafficking. Under Romanian law, trafficking of adults carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
Andrew Tate has been in the news for different reasons. He was first disqualified from reality TV show Big Brother after a video showing him assaulting a woman surfaced.
On his social media, he also talked about his want to cruise around in cars and visit the mosque, but he pointed out that he was good with the restricted movement imposed on him.
Andrew Tate’s lawyer, Tina Glandian, is a US legal advisor and partner at the Geragos & Geragos law firm.
Since the trial is not in the United States, it may take several years to reach a verdict.
Tate has been very outspoken about the accusations surrounding men like him, as he has denied having anything to do with the rape.
Recently, he took to his Twitter to say;
“There are hundreds of high-profile cases of men suffering from false accusations. There are thousands of untold stories of normal men having their lives destroyed.”
“I am launching a charity to protect men from this predatory evil.”
