A video captured the drama that allegedly happened when a British man tried to open the door of a plane while it was said to be on flight.
The incident happened on a Zadar to London Stansted flight operated by Ryanair. The man, who was identified as a British boxer was shouting hysterically at another passenger seated beside him.
He hurriedly got off his seat and was making his way to the plane’s exit, to open the doors and get off, when he was tackled down by two men.
What he was trying to say was unclear and has not been gotten as at this time, but was pointing at someone and at a point could be heard saying, “Open the door”…”Call the police department”!
Contrary to online reports, it was gathered that the plane has not taken off before the incident happened.
A lady that recorded the video clip said most of them were returning a Croatia’s Hideout festival.
Many in the comment section said the man might be either drunk or under the influence of drugs.
The 27-year-old British tourist was taken down from the plane and reportedly arrested by the police.
The Police also said they will launch a full investigation into the incident.
The Ryanair flight which was operated by Lauda Europe A320, was delayed by over two hours before departure due to the incident.
“This flight from Zadar to London Stansted returned to the stand when an individual passenger became disruptive while preparing for takeoff.”
“The passenger was removed from the aircraft by local police before the flight continued safely to London Stansted. This is now a matter for local police.”
“We sincerely apologise to affected passengers for any inconvenience caused as a result of this passenger’s disruptive behaviour”, Ryanair reportedly said in a statement.
The incident is coming up after another woman on an American Airlines flight said another passenger, a man in a green hoodie, seated beside her, was a reptile. An alien or shapeshifter as some would say.
