Fans are wondering why after photos and videos of Lana Del Rey working as a waitress and behind the counter at Waffle House in Florence, Alabama, on Thursday were shared on social media.
Lana Del Rey was pictured behind the Waffle House counter, brewing coffee while wearing a Waffle House uniform and a “Lana” name tag.
In another video clip, Lana Del Rey could be requesting a customer not to film somebody else without their permission.
Other photos saw her posing with fans in the eatery.
No reason has been made available yet on why Del Rey went to work for Waffle House.
While some think she was recording a video, others say it was only a publicity stunt, while some teased that she might be checking out other potential careers.
According to Insider, AL.com says she doesn’t seem to be working on music in Alabama. The news outlet also reported that local recording venues FAME Studios and Muscle Shoals Sound said she hadn’t been recording with them.
The “Video Games” singer recently performed at Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, although her set was cut short due to a strict curfew at the venue after the artist was late to the stage.
According to the BBC, the “Summertime Sadness” singer, 38, arrived 30 minutes late to England’s famed event on Saturday, starting her headlining performance a little after 11:00 p.m. local time.
