Bill Gates’ alleged extramarital affair with a Russian bridge player Mila Antonova was revealed over the weekend when a report claiming Jeffrey Epstein threatened via email, to expose the reputed romance emerged.
According to the report, Jeffrey Epstein threatened to expose an affair Bill Gates allegedly had with the Russian woman after he (Gates) declined to join his philanthropic venture.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Jeffrey Epstein appeared to threaten Bill Gates over the alleged affair with Russian Mila Antonova in a 2017 email. Bill Gates met Mila Antonova in 2010 and it was said that they had a brief romance while Gates was still married to his then-wife, Melinda French Gates. The couple divorced in May 2021 after 27 years of marriage.
When the affair happened, Bill Gates’ alleged Russian lover, Mila Antonova, would have been in her 20s while the Microsoft founder would be in his 50s.
Brief Bio Of Mila Antonova
Mila Antonova is an accomplished card player and software engineer who was born and raised in Russia.
According to her now-deleted LinkedIn profile, she attended a university in her homeland from 2000 to 2005.
She moved to the United States where she started working as a software engineer in San Francisco.
She also founded a bridge club later in America.
How Did Mila Antonova Meet Bill Gates
Mila Antonova met Bill Gates at a bridge tournament in Washington, DC.
In a video posted online in 2010, Antonova had talked about meeting Gates at the North American Bridge Championships a year earlier.
“I didn’t beat him, but I tried to kick him with my leg,” she said in the video.
Mila Antonova’s Connection With Jeffrey Epstein
Mila Antonova met Jeffrey Epstein when she was seeking funds to launch an online business dedicated to teaching people how to play bridge.
One of Gates’ top advisers, Boris Nikolic, made the introduction, according to the Journal.
Reports show Antonova met Epstein at his Manhattan townhouse in November 2013, when she told him she was trying to raise $500,000 for her BridgePlanet venture.
A year later, the Russian card player stayed at a New York City apartment provided by the late convicted pedophile and child abuser, Jeffrey Epstein, but she claims she “didn’t interact with him or with anyone else while there.”
Antonova also said Epstein never ended up investing in her BridgePlanet.
When her plans for the online business failed, Antonova turned to software programming and started asking people to lend her money to kick off a programming boot camp, and Epstein was among those who came through.
“Epstein agreed to pay, and he paid directly to the school,” Antonova told the Journal. “Nothing was exchanged. I don’t know why he did that. When I asked, he said something like he was wealthy and wanted to help people when he could.”
Antonova also said she didn’t know who the notorious pedophile was when they first met, saying she thought he was just a successful businessman.
How Jeffrey Epstein Was Involved In The Alleged Affair Between Bill Gates & Mila Antonova
After Jeffrey Epstein invested in Antonova’s programming boot camp, he sent an email to Bill Gates in 2017 asking him to reimburse him for the amount.
Jeffrey Epstein reportedly sent threatening emails to Bill Gates after he refused to join the multibillion-dollar charity he was trying to start with JPMorgan Chase.
It was reported that the Microsoft founder did not give in to his threats.
However, Bill Gates has previously admitted to and expressed regret for having several meetings with Epstein in the 2010s — after Epstein’s 2008 conviction in Florida on charges of soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution — as part of efforts to raise money for the Gates Foundation.
