Video: Moment Lewis Capaldi’s Fans Help Him Finish "Someone You Loved" Song As He Experiences Tourette’s On Stage

Watch the video of the emotional moment fans helped Lewis Capaldi finish his song “Someone You Loved” when his Tourette syndrome started affecting him while he was singing on stage.

The event happened during his performance at a concert in Germany on Tuesday when Lewis Capaldi was performing his No. 1 hit “Someone You Loved” for a packed crowd at his tour stop in Frankfurt.

In the video footage captured by fans, Capaldi seems to be struggling with tics as he sings, “And I tend to close my eyes when it hurts sometimes/ I fall into your arms/ I’ll be safe in your sound till I come back around.”

From there, the fans pick up the song’s chorus, singing, “For now, the day bleeds into nightfall/ And you’re not here to get me through it all/ I let my guard down and then you pulled the rug/ I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved” back at him together.

Capaldi revealed he has Tourette’s syndrome last fall on his Instagram Live; “The worst thing about it is when I’m excited, I get it; when I’m stressed, I get it; when I’m happy, I get it. It happens all the time. Some days it’s more painful than others and some days it’s less painful. It looks a lot worse than it is. Sometimes it’s quite uncomfortable … but it comes and goes.”
