Meet Jeremiah Fennell Youngest Newest NFL Sports Reporter Health Challenges Future Career
Jeremiah Fennell

10 years old Jeremiah Fennell is arguably the newest and youngest sports news reporter and might become a top sports broadcaster and journalist in the National Football League (NFL) in the future.

However, in a twist, Jeremiah Fennell said his journey into sports journalism stemmed from not being able to play sports amidst some health challenges.

“It all started when I was 4 years old because I was told through my parents that I might not be able to play contact sports because I have a brain defect and detached shoulder bone,” he told Hudson in the “Jennifer Hudson Show”.

Jeremiah however said he played football, basketball and tee-ball for one year. After that, he planned to “hone his craft in journalism and broadcasting.”

He revealed that his mother had initially denied him creating a Youtube channel but later agreed to in 2020.

“That’s what started it, but what’s really driving me is because I want to make my parents proud at a young age because my mom very much has health issues and my dad is a senior citizen,” He said.

Jeremiah continued with teh thoughts of losing his parents at a young age;

“Most kids think that their parents are going to last forever – for the rest of their childhood, but when I was 5 years old, my (mother) almost died.

After not seeing his mom for a month, which Jeremiah described as “the worst 30 days” of his life, the young journalist said he “had a long conversation with God,” saying that if He brought back his mom, he would be the “greatest son that I could ever be.”

Speaking on his favorite team, Las Vegas Raiders, Jeremiah said he fell in love with the Raiders after watching them play, which was the first game he watched in the NFL.

“When I was about 2 years old, I watched my first Raiders game,” he said. “That was my first NFL game I watched and I knew the Raiders would always have a special place in my heart. And I knew I always wanted to be in journalism, so I decided that I wanted to commentate on their games.”

On Jan. 11, the Raiders shared a video of Jeremiah interviewing Davante Adams, which they captioned “

Our newest (and cutest) reporter on the job with @tae15adams”

The team also surprised him with a trip to the Super Bowl on February 12. Jeremiah also said he hoped to interview Stefon Diggs and Peyton Manning.

Jeremiah Fennell says he wants to be a journalist, a sports broadcaster, an entrepreneur and an investor in the future.
