A coyote attacked a little girl as soon as she got off her daddy’s car.

The 2-year-old girl named Ariya was immediately taken down and was been dragged off by the wild animal, inflicting injuries on her.

Her father was quick enough to rescue her from the animal’s attack and further scare it off.

She was reportedly taken to a local hospital where she was treated for rabies.

Clashes between wild animals and humans have been more frequent over the decade due to deforestation.

Humans have continually encroached into wildlife resources, in the quest for new land for production, farming, and settlement.

The steady encroachment has blurred the boundaries between animals and human settlements.

According to a report from Michael R. Conover and Jack H. Berryman from the Institute and Department of Wildland Resources, Utah State University, over 47,000 people every year seek medical attention for bites from wild creatures in the United States. However, the mortality rate was greatly contained at 8, which is a testament to the speedy delivery of medical services.

The reports also stated that over 59,000 wildlife-vehicle collisions happen annually in America which resulted in over 440 human deaths.
