The New Orleans Saints took their second consecutive loss on Monday after suffering a defeat from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers displayed a major comeback at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa from a 13-point deficit to position at 6-6.

The Saints had a lead of 16-3 with 5:21 to play before Tom Brady came alive with a 91-yard drive that finished with a 1-yard touchdown pass

Tom Brady also had his 44th come-from-behind victory in the fourth quarter or overtime after a 37-yard line and scored on a 6-yard touchdown pass to Rachaad White with three seconds to play.

Lamenting their loss, New Orleans Saints Coach, Dennis Allen said the team should have done more, given the chances they had.

“We gave ourselves every chance and didn’t get it done…I felt like we had an opportunity to win this game and didn’t finish, didn’t get it done.”

“I feel like a broken record saying the same thing over and over again, Quarterback Andy Dalton said, supporting their coach.

Dalton had 20 of 28 for 229 yards and one touchdown. Receiver Chris Olave had four receptions for 65 yards, Rashid Shaheed had three for 75 yards, and Alvin Kamara was held to 26 yards on 12 carries.

The New Orleans Saints also were penalized six times 84 yards and were just five of 14 on third down. Their next game will be against the Atlanta Falcons (5-8) in the Caesars Superdome Stadium on Sunday, December 18.
