Walmart stores has reportedly been displaying and selling sex toys and other explicit adult items besides kids’ toothbrushes. Both shelves for sex toys & items and childrens toothbrush put closely side-by-side.
Specifically, a Walmart Store in Dalton was reportedly pictured selling female sex toys such as vibrators, plugs, and other forms of stimulants alongside a shelf for children’s toothbrushes.
The news was shared on Twitter and from the comment section, many said they have also seen such arrangements in Walmart stores in their area.
Placing sex toys beside kid’s items for sale in a store is like telling children, “hey you can have this also, it’s a complimentary item with what you want to buy”.
Continuing in her Tweet, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said “Selling sex toys openly where children are exposed to them is wrong, inappropriate, immoral, indecent, perverted, shameful, and incredibly harmful to children.”
I can not comprehend how we got to a place where people think they have the right to force sexual adult issues on children. You do not have that right”, MTG added.
Responding to the backlash, Chuck Callesto retorted that Walmart employees said they were forced to create the mini sex shop beside the kid’s section because it was a strict company policy and they had no choice but to adhere to it.
