Nancy Pelosi’s husband was ambushed and attacked during a home invasion in their house in San Francisco, according to Pelosi’s office.
Nancy, who is the speaker of the house of representatives in the United States was not there at that time, as she visits the White House in Washington and other states due to her work.
The United States has been dealing with a surge in home invasions, robberies, violent assaults, and gun violence, In many cities, including San Francisco.
Paul Pelosi is a senior (82 years of age) which makes him more susceptible to dangerous attacks.
According to reports by Nancy Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill, Paul was violently attacked by the person that broke into their home in San Francisco.
With the good work of first responders and the police, Paul was rushed to the hospital and with his treatment, he is expected to make a full recovery.
The police were also able to catch the attacker and get him into custody where he would be facing serious charges. The police are also investigating his motive for breaking into the Speaker’s house.
Although the police have not given an official statement on the case, they are dealing with it as it involves a member of the US administration.
Nancy Pelosi and other members of the white house have been dealing with the frightening U.S Capitol incident, where hundreds of civilians invaded the White House, and Nancy and some other cabinet members were scared and hurt in the process.
The Speaker was also very angry with Trump as she believed that he was the root cause of the rebel movement.
