The musical performer for Saturday Night Live’s episode on October 1 was Kendrick Lamar. Lamar performed “Rich Spirit,” “N95,” and “Father Time” off his most recent album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers on the Miles Teller-hosted program. In September, the 48th season of Saturday Night Live revealed that Megan Thee Stallion, Willow, and Kendrick Lamar would be the show’s musical guests in October. On October 8, Megan Thee Stallion will perform in an episode of Willow that will be hosted by Brendan Gleeson.
The show’s installment on October 15 will include Megan performing as both the musical guest and the host.
In addition to his 2018 appearance with Anderson.Paak for “Tints,” Kendrick Lamar has also appeared on Saturday Night Live in November 2014, February 2014, and January 2013.
