Gio Reyna scored his first goal for Dortmund against Stuttgart, after a 14-month goal drought (approximately 421 days).

The 19-year-old fired Dortmund’s third of the match into the back of the net, as the host continued their beautiful goal run to the season.

Reyna’s last goal was on August 27, 2021 and Dortmund were already three goals to the good when Reyna controlled the ball and then curled a low finish past goalkeeper Florian Muller.

As early as the 2nd minute, Jude Bellingham put the hosts in front, firing a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner.

11 minutes later, Dortmund were two goals up, as Niklas Süle smacked a Raphaël Guerreiro’s freekick past Stuttgart’s goalkeeper.

Gio Reyna made his first Bundesliga start of the campaign against Stuttgart and needed just 44 minutes to find the back of the net, widening Dortmund’s lead.

Bellingham got his brace of the day after he collected a pass from Brandy on the left and glided it past a couple of challenges before curling a brilliant effort into the top corner.

Dortmund was not done yet and the tears did not stop, as Bellingham fed the ball forward to Guerreiro down the inside-left channel, and the defender cut it back into the centre of the Stuttgart penalty area for Moukoko, and the 17-year-old has a simple tap-in to score the 5th for the hosts.

In the 889th minute, Stuttgart had put the ball in the net and substitute Luca Pfeiffer struck but he was fractionally offside and the consolation did not stand.

It was a beautiful result for the home side who are currently 4th on the table with 19 points from 11 matches far.

In other news, a red card for Ausburg saw their hard-earned three-goal lead go down the drain, as RB Leipzig came back and got a point against the hosts.
