The Try Guys said in a statement on Tuesday that Ned Fulmer would no longer be working with them. A thorough internal evaluation revealed that “we do not see a route ahead together,” according to the statement.
Shortly thereafter, Fulmer issued his own statement:
You probably remember who the Try Guys are if you read BuzzFeed articles in 2016. These guys are known for trying everything from the Taco Bell menu to the Pizza Hut menu on camera.
They started their own business four years ago after leaving Jonah Peretti’s shingle, where they had established themselves as legitimate internet celebrities. Since then, they have amassed nearly 8 million YouTube subscribers, developed a sort of extended universe, and undoubtedly made more money than you or I will ever see in our lives.
Everything had been going smoothly for them up until last night when reports surfaced that Try Guy Ned Fulmer had an affair with the host of the Try Guys show “Food Babies,” Alex Herring.
