Diego Costa still struggling to find his form after leaving Athletico Madrid

Diego Costa was one of the brightest footballers in the 2014 football season for Athletico Madrid. He helped the Spanish giants to sin the La Liga title in 2014 before he was sent to England to join Chelsea against his will.

Costa was very comfortable in Athletico, as it was home to him. He was also doing well in his first couple of years for Chelsea, as the striker could go through any defense and pit the ball in the back of the net.

Then he clashed with his coach Antonio Conte and his departure marked the beginning of the end of his finest years. His career took a bad turn, and he was no longer part of the Blue’s first eleven.

He went back to Athletico Madrid for a second term and yet again, an incident that involved Costa, Simeone, his assistant Nelson Vivas and Oscar Celada in a game away at Real Sociedad led to his departure from Los Rojiblancos following his second spell at the team.

Those who had problems with Diego Costa acknowledge that he was a great guy, but he had issues with his temper.
