Apple Music is the new sponsor of the NFL Super Bowl sponsor, after 10 years with Pepsi

Apple Music has replaced Pepsi as the new Super Bowl halftime show sponsor, according to the official statement of the National Football League.

Pepsi ended its partnership with the NFL after 10 years of sponsoring the Super Bowl halftime show. It would now be affiliated and named along with the new sponsor.

Excited Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Music and Beats, stated:

“We are looking forward to even more epic performances next year and beyond with the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.”

Senior Vice President of Partner Strategy for the NFL, Nana-Yaw Asamoah also said:

“We are proud to welcome Apple Music to the NFL family as our new partner for the iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show. We couldn’t think of a more appropriate partner for the world’s most-watched musical performance than A.M a service that entertains, inspires, and motivates millions of people around the world through the intersection of music and technology”

The Super Bowl halftime show has been a stage for many veteran artists from Michael Jackson to Lady Gaga, from Prince to the Rolling Stones, Madonna to Maroon Five, Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Lopez, as well as many others.
