Video: Antony Blinken Vows To Send All Free Money In US Treasury To Ukraine Before Trump Takes Over

Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that the Biden administration will ensure it sends to Ukraine any money it can before it hands over to Trump, and cited billions of dollars sent in recent times.

Blinken made the statement on Wednesday, vowing that the US will continue to stand by Ukraine to ensure they have what it takes to effectively defend itself always.

He said it was part of the obligations of the United States and they will continue to send “every dollar we have at our disposal will be pushed [to Ukraine] between now and January 20th”, when Trump will take office. Video below:

The statement emphasizes Biden’s commitment to provide military aid to Ukraine as they battle Russia. Trump vowed to end the ongoing war and has held talks with both parties following his victory in the polls.

According to The Washington Post, Trump had a call with Putin where he told him not to escalate the war further, and both world leaders discussed the path of peace. Trump also said he would not send any funds to Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukraine’s president said he had a very productive conversation with Trump following his victory on November 5.

“Of course, we cannot yet know what his actions will be. But we do hope that America will become stronger”, he said

Antony Blinken’s statement angered Americans who faulted the government for abandoning its people, especially those whose homes was devastated by hurricane Helene, and choosing to rather send huge funds to another country to fund war.

Others suggested that the wanton transfer of billions of dollars was a massive money laundering scheme.
