Concerning her 2022 tour, Stevie Nicks mentioned performing in Nashville.
On Thursday, October 6, the singer from Phoenix will perform at Ak-Chin Pavilion with special guest Vanessa Carlton.
Nicks will be performing alone for the first time in Phoenix since she began the 24 Karat Gold Tour there in October 2016 with Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders as the opening act at Footprint Center, which was then known as Talking Stick Resort Arena.
She did perform with Fleetwood Mac again in 2018 on their first tour without Lindsey Buckingham, who was replaced by Mike Campbell, Tom Petty’s right-hand man, and Neil Finn of Crowded House.
Nicks was the first woman to be re-inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. She previously performed in the Valley as a member of Fleetwood Mac, but this is her first appearance there as a solo performer.
Nicks was born on May 26, 1948, to Jess and Barbara Nicks at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.
She grew up in Phoenix, Albuquerque, El Paso, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco as a result of her father’s constant travels as an executive at the Armour-Dial Greyhound Corp.
Nicks constructed a house in Paradise Valley in 1981, sharing it with her brother Chris, his wife Lori, and their daughter Jessica. She wrote a lot of songs while residing there.
