A Nigerian lady identified as Ozioma Michael has called off her wedding plans with her husband-to-be three days to their wedding day over domestic violence.
This is coming days after it was reported that the popular gospel singer of ‘Ekueme” died from domestic violence.
Ozioma Micheal took to her Facebook page to announce the called-off wedding which was supposed to hold on Saturday (16 April 2022) as she made it known that her relationship with her fiance has been a “toxic” one.
The lady added that her “supposed husband hit and abused” her whenever they have any slight misunderstanding and she has made a promise never to face domestic violence in her life.
Ms. Micheal described her man as “full of rage” as she further revealed that he uses his belt, stick, and broom on her as she disclose that “this Monday last week, just because of a little misunderstanding, he beat me mercilessly and in the process of it, he rushed into his mother’s kitchen for a cutlass.
“When I noticed he was going for a weapon, I locked the door behind him which he forcefully opened, both his mother and sisters and some neighbors were begging him not to cut me with the cutlass. With all these things and more I am fed up.”
