Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is a celebration done to pay regard to Saint Patrick. The parade is conducted every year on March 17, observed as Saint Patrick’s death anniversary. The day is celebrated as a religious and cultural feast in many parts.

Saint Patrick was a missionary and Bishop from Ireland. From his early history, beliefs say that the Irish raiders kidnapped him at sixteen. He spent a few years working as a shepherd, and during those days, he found God. He later became a priest himself.

He has removed snakes from Ireland and used the shamrock to explain Trinity. He is considered to be one of the patron saints of Ireland.

Later, the Irish immigrants started celebrating it in the US and other parts of the world.

The day has also been declared as a public holiday in many countries.
