A magistrate court in Abeokuta has ordered the confinement of the teenagers aged 17 to 20 who beheaded a girl and burnt it for money ritual.
It was reported earlier that one of the boys deceived the victim who was accounted to be a girlfriend to one of the suspects into an uncompleted building where she was murdered with the help of the three other boys.
During the court session, the prosecutor who is identified as Inspector Lawrence Balogun told the magistrate court that on January 28, 2022, at about 11:00 pm at the Kugba area in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Following a different appeal from the defendant which the judge turn a deaf ear to, the case was adjourned till the 4th of March as the suspects were sentenced to be detained in Oba Correctional Service, till legal advice emerges from the Director of Ogun State Public Prosecution.
