Violent efforts are been made by some miscreants in the Eastern part of Nigeria to bring back the erstwhile sit at home order.

Some unknown gunmen were reported to have attacked Topland axis at Amechi Road, Mayor Bus-Stop on Agbani Road, Enugu state.

The unknown gunmen were said to have arrived in an ash-colored Toyota Sienna car, shooting sporadically and setting a commercial bus and a motorcycle, popularly known as Keke, ablaze.

Two people also reportedly lost their lives in the event.

The “sit at home” order was initially violently enforced by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on every resident in the five Eastern states of Nigeria, in protest of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who was captured and is been held by the Nigerian Government on allegations of treason, amongst other charges.
