NASA has announced the launch of James Webb Space Telescope, the most powerful telescope ever to be built on earth.
James Webb will be launched on Saturday and live coverage will be shown on NASA’s TV channel and website from 6 a.m. ET, with the actual launch starting by 7:20 a.m. ET.
James Webb Space Telescope was developed to provide a better vision and answer to many of the unanswered questions concerning our solar system.
NASA further revealed that the telescope’s infrared technology enables it to better detect light that is invisible to the naked eye, revealing hidden regions of space.
The development of James Webb Space Telescope reportedly took about 40 million hours, with thousands of thousands of scientists, technicians, and engineers from 14 countries working on the project since 2004.
