5 weeks after Kemi Olunloyo deleted her Instagram & Facebook account because her followers failed to cease calling her aunty Kemi or Mummy Kemi or Kemkem, the investigative journalist has revealed why she hates people referring to her with those names in a new video.
She revealed that she was sexually molested by an uncle when she was little, and he always called her Kem-Kem. However, the trauma has stayed with her even as an adult and it gets heightened when somebody calls her that same name.
She also revealed that she hates when people refer to her as aunty Kemi because that was what she was called when she served time in Port Harcourt Maximum Prison.
