The Lagos State Government under the leadership of Babajide Sanwo-Olu inducted the newly elected Local Government Council Chairmen in the recently concluded Lagos State Local Government election.
“Today, at the induction programme for the 57 elected Council Chairmen, I charged the new leaders of the third tier of government in Lagos State to devote their resources to people-oriented programmes that will address poverty and accelerate good governance at the grassroots.”
The Governor also charged them to be effective Chief Security Officers of their respective domains and work closely with every recognized union under their charge.
Sanwo-Olu ended by giving a progress report of the 377 projects embarked on by the Lagos State Government and implored them to participate to speed them up to conclusion.
