There are reports that Twitter just rolled out an update for IOS Apple users, which allows users to use the app despite internet restrictions, ban or VPN. It’s like the new Twitter app comes with its own VPN.
It is okay to say the new Twitter update was targeted at Nigerians after Buhari suspended Twitter because his hate tweet was deleted.
No update was said to have been released for android users.
The ban of Twitter is a big blow to the microblogging media as a major chunk of the Nigerian population are the young generation who spend more time tweeting as a means of communication, business, and leisure.
