After a series of meetings between the Federal Government and Labour Union, the FG has agreed to provide a tariff relief of N10.20 per kilowatt-hour for Nigerians for the next 3 months but not exceeding 31st of December. Also, electricity tariff will be suspended for 2 weeks.
6 Million Electricity Meters to be distributed Free of Charge!
The information was reported by the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo. Also from the meeting, a 2-phase strategy was formulated to combat electricity issues, which would provide viable results within the short term.
