A man described himself as Chief Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze (Ichie Chinemeze) took it upon himself to formally denounce the Knighthood conferred on him by the Anglican Church. He made it clear that his reason for dropping the renowned title was due to the “despicable” manner of the Archbishop- Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim, who knighted him in 2016. He referred to the Archbishop as a “servant of money”.
