Luminous, one of India’s leading manufacturers of inverters and batteries, recently launched a model in one of their flagship products – the 150Ah tall tubular inverter battery. It is still unclear if they are the first to launch the 150Ah in this category, but this news is certainly making waves because it’s from Luminous, one of the best Indian inverter battery brands sold in Nigeria.
The 150Ah tubular wet cell battery comes with an entirely different technology from its dry cell predecessors. Just like the bigger 200ah type, it boasts of overall longer battery life, and it is most suitable for users looking for a smaller battery size, something in between the bigger 220ah (and above), and not below 100ah size.
However, just like all other tubular batteries, it comes with a drawback- the distilled liquid in it has to be monitored at intervals. If it goes below the recommended gauge and goes dry for so long, the battery cells can get damaged. No wonder batteries in this category are normally referred to as “non-maintenance free”.
