Working together is one of the most frequent ways people find love, and it can happen to anyone, including beauty queens. When Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico got married last week, it was demonstrated.
Mariana Varela, 26, from Argentina, and Fabiola Valentin, 22, from Puerto Rico, had actually been dating since 2020, but they kept their relationship a secret until their covert wedding in May of this year. They did, however, reveal their engagement to the public in a charming Instagram video that featured some of their journeys together as their romance grew.
The video was posted with the message, “After deciding to keep our relationship private, we open the doors for you on a special day,” on both of their Instagram accounts.
The film ends with views of identical silver, diamond engagement rings on fingers, followed by shots of gold balloons that read “Marry Me?” The footage concludes with the newlyweds kissing outside of the Marriage Bureau in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where they got married last Friday.
They first connected in the Miss Grand International pageant in 2020, where they both placed in the top 10 while representing their respective nations. Since then, they have gushed on social media about their bond without ever admitting they were more than simply pals. “Thank you for making me a part of your life and an accomplice of your happiness,” Fabiola wrote to Mariana on her birthday. I hope to always have a friendship with you because you are a priceless treasure.
Thousands of followers have voiced their joy over the union; in fact, there have been so many that Mariana said, “Thanks for all the love! We are incredibly content and fortunate. I hope you receive many times as much love as you currently do! Numerous thanks!
