Travelers and Trucks got stranded on Kogi/Ekiti highway due to the long traffic. People who were caught in traffic where so helpless.
Many of them reportedly have spent hours in traffic and they observed it was caused by the bad road close to the border of the two towns where the security checkpoint is located.
Some passengers boarded bikes to curb the traffic while some could not. A witness of the incident stated that he has been struggling with the traffic for over 5 hours.
