marvel-phase-5

A dozen films will be released under Marvel Phase 5 according to studio president Kevin Feige. He announced this during Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2022.

After missing Comic-Con for three years, Marvel Studios has finally opened the San Diego arena’s doors.

Beginning with the exhilarating Multiversal ride in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, nine of the projects confirmed for Phase 5 had already been made public through earlier events and news releases.

It seems that the MCU is not holding back for the foreseeable future, switching between cosmic outer space (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3) and more dramatic ground-level combat (Echo and Ironheart).

Even though it is disappointing that movies like Fantastic Four won’t be released until Phase 6, there are still plenty of intriguing stories to be told, especially in light of what was just disclosed at Comic-Con.

With Daredevil: Reborn Again, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will finally let the Man Without Fear grow and evolve under the protection of the Marvel Studios brand.

Marvel isn’t slowing down at all, as seen by the upcoming Sam Wilson solo film starring Anthony Mackie and the long-awaited Thunderbolts team-up in the MCU.

All of this will occur in the middle of the recently confirmed Multiverse Saga, the exciting new slate of MCU projects that will carry on the Infinity Saga’s storyline that began in 2008. Only space and time will now be able to reveal what new players enter the fray.

Marvel Cinematic Universe will officially begin Phase 5 with the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, 2023.
