Ronaldo Lands In Manchester To Sign United Deal

Cristiano Ronaldo has landed in the United Kingdom to complete his move to Manchester United.

The 36-year-old rejoined Manchester United from Juventus during the last transfer window.

He was in action for Portugal in the 2-1 win over Northern Ireland, where he scored two historic goals to become the player with the most international goals with 111 strikes for Portugal.

Ronaldo was allowed to leave the Portugal training camp because he is suspended for their next game.

He was received by Manchester United Technical Director, Darren Fletcher at Manchester Airport.

He has revealed that he is ready to play his part to help Manchester United win trophies.

“I have a fantastic history with this amazing club. I was there at 18 years old and of course, I’m so happy to be back home after 12 years. So I’m really glad and looking forward to starting my first game. He told Manchester United website.

“I think it’s the best decision that I have made. It’s right on point in my opinion.

“I moved from Juve now to Manchester, it’s a new chapter, I’m so happy and glad, and I want to carry on again, to make history, to try to help Manchester achieve great results, to win trophies and number one of them, to win great things.”

Ronaldo has been assigned the no. 7 jersey after Edison Cavani agreed to let him have it.
