Vince McMahon Leaves As WWE CEO Amidst Alleged Sexual/Bribe Misconduct Investigation

Reports have it that American wrestling promoter, Vince McMahon has withdrawn as the CEO of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) CEO while an investigation is conducted over an alleged bribe to cover up sexual misconduct.

It was reported that Vince McMahon who took over from his father in the year 1982 and has been running the company for 40 years made this known through a statement released on the company website which partly reads;

“I have pledged my complete cooperation to the investigation by the Special Committee, and I will do everything possible to support the investigation. I have also pledged to accept the findings and outcome of the investigation, whatever they are,”
