Crystal Palace continues their good start, as they recorded another victory after snatching a 2-1 win at the London Stadium against West Ham United.
The Palace recorded their first goal 37 minutes from the start of the game through a fast reaction from Jean-Philippe Mateta, who hit the net with his head from a header that hit the crossbar from Marc Guéhi.
West Ham United did not wait much longer before they levelled the game. Jarrod Bowen picked it up as he moved closer to get a corner from El Hadji Malick Diouf, using his head to push the ball past Dean Henderson.
This draw raised the confidence of West Ham as Lucas Paqueta and Kyle Walker-Peters tested Crystal Palace, while Chris Richards performed a saving clearance at the goal line to deny Paqueta’s attempt.
While the second half appeared tough for both sides, Crystal Palace earned their win in the 68th minute through a controlled shot by Tyrick Mitchell that went against Alphonse Areola.
As the home side continued to push, Crystal Palace were at their best defending their three points, putting much pressure on the former as the team went further down the table.
