Nottingham Forest‘s boss Ange Postecoglou is still in search of a win as the club’s head coach, as the team recorded a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor against Burnley.
Nottingham Forest scored an early goal just two minutes after the game started when Neco Williams fired into Burnley’s net.
Ange Postecoglou’s side took control of the first half but could not score more than one goal. Oleksandr Zinchenko, who joined Forest through a loan from Arsenal, scored the draw after diverting an effort by Jaidon Anthony. Although the credit for the goal was given to Anthony.
Nottingham Forest, being the visitor, nearly scored the winner through efforts by Dilane Bakwa and Chris Wood. The home team also had an opportunity through a free kick by Loum Tchaouna, but the effort hit the crossbar.
Anthony also tried Matz Sels in the second half. Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka also saved Burnley from recording a defeat after denying a header from Jesus and another effort from Williams.
Forest appears more expansive under Ange Postecoglou than it was under Nuno Espirito Santo. Postecoglou, an Australian coach, is still trying to record his first win after their last three games.
