Martin Zubimendi scored two goals in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest, denying Ange Postecoglou from earning three points in his first match as Forest’s manager.
Ange Postecoglou, who recently joined Nottingham Forest from Tottenham, still finds it difficult to steal three points from meetings with Mikel Arteta after their last four games.
Arsenal didn’t disappoint their fans despite Bukayo Saka’s absence due to injury. Noni, who played in the position of Saka, fired corners that threatened the defense of Forest and led to a goal.
Zubimendi scored the first goal after he converted a header from Chris Wood by firing a deflection off Murillo into the net.
Forest had a fine opportunity through Morgan Gibbs-White, who missed, firing a shot inside the net. Arsenal recorded their second goal through an assist from Eberechi Eze to Viktor Gyokeres.
Martin Zubimendi scored his second and Arsenal’s last goal via a header from a cross by Leandro Trossard.
Arsenal displayed confident and sharp play despite not fielding many of their key players, including captain Martin Ødegaard, who is currently battling injury. Arsenal once again recorded a victory against Postecoglou.
