Tennessee Titans Quarterback (QB) Will Lewis has decided to go on with a season-ending surgery for his shoulder injury.
The franchise made this announcement months after he injured his ACL while diving in September. Lewis has decided to choose his health first and will have his surgery before the end of the month.
The team can only support their star quarterback as he pushes through this period and fully recovers. Lewis is a fighter and has shown his commitment to the team. So, he would surely bounce back.
While Will is gone for the season, new quarterback Cameron Ward, who was the first 2025 overall pick, would take the reins and lead the team through the season. Veteran QB Brandon Allen, who serves as backup.
Although Lewis has had this fall since last season, it did not become an issue till this current training camp. He did not complain and trained with his personal trainer Jordan Palmer, especially since he knew he was going to fight Ward for the top QB spot.
After resting and making a full recovery, Will will be back to fighting for the starting quarterback position, and he hopes his decision to undergo surgery, which is a long-term solution, will work out for him.
