Christian Pulisic helped his side, the U.S. men’s national team to secure a 4-2 win against Jamaica on Tuesday in St. Louis advancing to CONCACAF Nations League semifinals.
The U.S. team now boast of an aggregate of 5-2 in the recent quarterfinals win after a 1-0 first-leg win in Jamaica.
Christian Pulisic scored the USMNT’s first goal of the game in the 13th minute, firing into the net a long pass from Weston McKennie past Andre Blake. He first another shot in the 33rd minute that was deflected off by Di’Shon Bernard for an own goal making it 2-0.
Ricardo Pepi fired a goal into the net with a good strike from 18 yards through an assist created by Antonee Robinson.
Jamaica netted their first goal in the 53rd minute courtesy of Demarai Gray but USMNT’s Timothy Weah did not wait to have the Jamaicans jubilate enough before he made a comeback through an assist that reached him from Yunus Musah’s cross under the bar leading to 4-1.
The United States Men’s National Team which is the reigning Nations League winner will play in the semifinals in Inglewood, California by next year March.
The victory also added a berth in the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup, as the U.S. men are getting ready for the 2026 World Cup that will be co-hosted by the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
