The Bafana Bafana of South Africa destroyed South Sudan’s defense after beating the team 3-0 in the final game of AFCON qualifiers on Tuesday’s evening at the DHL Cape Town Stadium.

This win for South Africa helps the squad to finish as leader of the Group K table after racking 14 points from six games.

The South Africa team remained unbeaten since the qualifying tournament began after it won four games and made two draws.

The South Africa football management hired a Belgian coach to help the team beat their opponents as they set their eyes on winning the next AFCON title in Morocco next year.

The team showed consistency from all their home and away games, completing the campaign without losing a match in the qualifying tournament.

With this perfect run, South Africa will not aim to carry this energy into the next year’s tournament, with their unbeaten record giving them enough morale to play on.

The Belgian-born coach, Hugo Broos, explains the reason while the Bafana side must not lose focus as they prepare to battle with tougher opponents across Africa’s continent.
