Renowned Bishop T.D. Jakes Stable After Medical Emergency During Sunday’s Sermon

Renowned Bishop T.D. Jakes, Potter’s House of Dallas’s pastor, is now stable after he experienced a medical emergency on Sunday during a sermon.

The emergency was noticed when the congregation and other viewers saw the pastor, who was holding on to a microphone, appeared to be shaking before those at his nearby rushed to assist him.

In a statement released by the Potter’s House of Dallas, it was confirmed that Bishop T.D. Jakes suffered a “slight health incident” but was given quick medical attention after his powerful hour-long message.

Part of the church’s release includes “Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals,” according to the statement. “The entire Potter’s House family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community.” 

Bishop T.D. Jakes founded the church, The Potter’s House, and established it in 1996 in Southern Dallas. The church boasts a 30,000-member megachurch.

The pastor is widely respected by Americans and lovers across the globe for his inspirational messages and leadership skills. He has remained an important personality in the Christian community for more than 10 years.
