Devante Adams and Aaron Rodgers are finally back together on the same team after a year of speculation and two years of separation. Hopes have been raised on the two players to help the New York Jets stabilize again in the ongoing season.

The Las Vegas Raiders traded Devante Adams to the New York Jets on Tuesday in exchange for a conditional third-round pick in next year’s draft that is likely going to become a second-round pick.

Adam’s move was announced by both teams after the completion of the contract and passing his physical exams.

The 31-year-old Adams is expected to bring an urgent turnaround to his new team’s offense, which has not been very good this season.

He was reported to have announced to the Las Vegas Raiders that he was no longer interested in staying with the team after he missed out of the last three matches because of a hamstring injury. The team did not hesitate to grant his request.

The interim coach of the New York Jets, Jeff Ulbrich, announced his happiness about Adams’s arrival into the team and readiness to work with him, while he also said he is yet to know if the wide receiver will play in the Sunday night match in Pittsburgh.

Devante will be happy to play with Rodgers as a teammate again and will also be getting passes from Rogers again, the quarterback with whom he had played successfully eight seasons in Green Bay.
