Music legend Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently battling several legal cases and a federal human trafficking and sexual assault investigation as he has been taken into custody, as mentioned by his attorney.

Combs was arrested in New York City last week on Monday evening by Homeland Security Investigations at the Park Hyatt Hotel. The arrest follows an indictment that was expected to be revealed on Tuesday.

His negotiations for surrender are ongoing, with the indictment voted on Monday.

His lawyer claimed that the singer had been cooperating with the investigation and had willingly moved to New York. His legal teams said their client is innocent and has “nothing to hide.”

Diddy was very popular in the media earlier this year as he was accused of sex trafficking, causing authorities to raid his Los Angeles and Miami homes. It was revealed by authorities that the investigation is broader, involving sex trafficking, drugs, and money laundering.

Combs has faced a combination of number 10 legal cases, of which nine are for sexual assault. A lot of accusers have met with federal investigators, with some expected to testify before a grand jury.

Combs has denied all the allegations; he released an apology to the public after footage surfaced online showing him in 2016 assaulting Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, who was his ex-girlfriend.
