Quarterback Lamar Jackson was left in disbelief after the Baltimore Ravens lost their game on Thursday night.

Jackson did not agree with the official’s decision to overturn Isaiah Likely’s last-second touchdown that led to a 27-20 victory for the Kansas City Chiefs and a defeat to the Baltimore Ravens in the season opener.

An official had formerly ruled that Likely had both feet inbounds in the back of the end zone, which put Baltimore up for a likely game-winning two-point conversion.

The video replay reviews pointed out that Likely’s right foot touched the out-of-bounds line.

Baltimore Ravens is 1-5 against Kansas City, and Patrick Mahomes was about to make a wonderful comeback. Jackson evaded pressure and launched a pass to Likely, who leaped to catch it under tight coverage with five seconds remaining in the game and on Kansas City’s 10-yard line.

The official signaled a touchdown and Likely celebrated briefly before the ruling was reversed.

Likely, who had a career-high nine catches for 111 yards, nearly secured the biggest touchdown of his career.

Baltimore Ravens was almost going to end the Kansas City Chiefs’ streak of 23 consecutive victories when they were leading by 10 or more points that entered into the fourth quarter.
