American actress Margot Robbie is reportedly pregnant with her first child, multiple sources told People. This will be the first child for Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley.
The news comes after paparazzi photos emerged of the two vacationing in Lake Como, with Robbie displaying her baby bump in a crop top, and social media went crazy.
Ackerley and Robbie have been married since 2016 and run a production company, LuckyChap, together.
The company has produced several films and television series, including I, Tonya, Birds of Prey, and Barbie — all of which starred Robbie.
Robbie and Ackerley, also 34, first met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française, where he was an assistant director and she was in front of the camera.
They then married in December 2016 during a private ceremony in Australia’s Byron Bay.
Last month, Ackerley opened up to The Sunday Times about how he and Robbie balance their personal and professional lives.
“[We spend] 24 hours a day [together],” he said. “It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.”
Margot Robbie’s film Barbie broke the box office as it became the highest grossing film last year.
Audiences can next catch Tom and Margot producing Megan Park’s comedy My Old A** – hitting limited US theaters September 13 – which stars Aubrey Plaza, Maisy Stella, and Maddie Ziegler.
The producing pair are also overseeing Molly Smith Metzler’s Netflix limited series Sirens, which is based on her play Elemeno Pea about ‘women, power, and class.’
